Kelly Brook's latex dress: A real woman squeezes herself into the rubber number

Wow. We were left agog last week when we saw the pictures of the GQ Awards.

Kelly Brook

Wow factor: Kelly Brook in a £799 Aksudo Kudo latex dress at the GQ Awards

Kate Moss may have grabbed the limelight with her bizarre behaviour, but it was Kelly Brook in THAT latex dress that stole the headlines - and turned heads.

How did she get such a tiny waist? And how on earth did she get into it?

Made of latex rubber and with concealed corsetry, it showed off her incredible hour-glass figure and had men lifting their jaws off the floor and women desperately breathing in.

But in the real world?

Our size 12 model looks washed out in the pale pink dress.

And despite having ample curves, she demonstrates that a voluptuous figure is needed to carry off this dress - a near-impossible combination of having a waspish waist with curvy hips and bust.

The rubber also wrinkled up, unattractively, looking - dare we say it - a bit cheap.

By contrast, a simple cobalt blue Reiss dress, with heavy elastic paneling to pull in a wayward tummy, capped sleeves and flattering cut just above the knee, give a va-va-voom impact.
